TruCheck Early Cancer Screening Blood Test

Early Cancer Screening Blood Test - £1200

Get A Drip has now partnered with TruCheck™ to bring you the latest, most groundbreaking cancer detection Blood Test. Having an Early Screening Blood Test is the most effective way of managing early stages of cancer. When you detect cancer in its early stages, treatment is far more effective and the chances of a positive outcome are significantly increased.

Having an Early Cancer Screening Blood Test may help prevent the spread of cancer to other parts of the body as well as identifying which type of cancer(s) you have and from which organ it has originated from. This blood test checks your blood sample for Circulating Tumour Cells (CTCs) and clusters within the cells.

In simple terms, this test aims to determine your current cancer status. If cancer is detected, it also pinpoints the tumour’s location, allowing for a quicker, more targeted treatment.

Does this test detect the existence of cancer or the possibility of cancer?

This test detects cancer even in its early stages.

Can it replace conventional cancer screening?

Although this test is extremely valuable, it should not replace conventional cancer screening
if such tests are advised by a medical professional.

What if my results come back as ‘positive’?

A positive result means that CTCs (Circulating Tumour Cells) have been found in your blood. The test results will indicate the location for the selected type of cancers with high accuracy, and in other cancers the tissue of origin can be identified with reasonable accuracy. This means we can tell you where the cancer started developing in your body.

With any positive result, a member of our clinical team will can you personally to discuss your results and guide you on your next steps.

If my results are negative, does that mean I am completely cancer-free?

Not necessarily. Although our tests are highly accurate, it does not test for all types and therefore cannot detect all types of cancer. In such cases, it is best to consult your GP for further advice.

How frequently should I take this test?

Since this initial cancer screening procedure is non-intrusive, there are no drawbacks to undergoing it regularly. Nonetheless, we recommend conducting this test annually as a component of your yearly health assessment.

Can I take the Cancer Screen Test if I have symptoms of cancer?

No. This test is designed for people without any symptoms of cancer for preventative purposes. If you believe you are experiencing any symptoms of cancer, please seek urgent medical advice.

Is there an age requirement for this test?

Yes. You have to be over 40 years old in order to take this test. This is due to the age of participants in our clinical trial – at current we cannot confirm accuracy for other age groups.

Can I do other health screening tests at the same time?

Yes. We believe the Cancer Screening Blood Test is a really powerful addition to overall health screening. It is not designed to replace standard health screening tests so it should be done alongside your routine healthcare.
