Start with how you feel
What’s actually going on?
Always tired
Could be iron, B12, thyroid, cortisol or sleep — bloods tell you which.
Can’t lose weight
Fasting insulin, thyroid and sex hormones often explain stuck weight.
Brain fog
B12, thyroid, vitamin D and inflammation are the usual suspects.
Heart & diabetes risk
ApoB, Lp(a), HbA1c and blood pressure — your QRISK3 and QDiabetes inputs.
Bad sleep
Cortisol, thyroid and hormones drive sleep quality more than habits do.
Low libido
Testosterone, SHBG, oestradiol, thyroid and stress all play a role.

The problem
A number on a page isn’t an answer.
Most blood tests stop at the result. Ours runs a full loop — so you actually know what to do, and whether it worked.
Built for prevention, not just diagnosis.
Standard checks look for what is already wrong. We measure 49+ biomarkers, including ApoB, Lp(a), Free T3 and Active B12, to catch the early signals while you still feel well.
A plan, not just a number.
Postal finger-prick kits give you a result and a chart. We give you a doctor’s plan, plus 8 in-person vital signs that online providers cannot capture.
A standard private blood test in the UK measures 40 to 70 biomarkers and stops there. It doesn’t capture your blood pressure, your weight, your medical history, your symptoms, your family history or your lifestyle. That’s roughly a third of the information a doctor actually needs to interpret your results properly.
Ferritin at the low end of normal might be fine on its own. Combine it with a questionnaire that flags fatigue, heavy periods and a vegetarian diet, and it tells a completely different story. The NHS knows this — QRISK3 (cardiovascular risk) and QDiabetes (type 2 risk) both combine self-reported history, vital signs and blood markers. Single-modality testing leaves clinical signal on the table.
117
health data points in one appointment.
Three streams of clinical data in one visit. 49+ venous blood biomarkers analysed at a UKAS-accredited UK laboratory. A digital medical questionnaire built around the inputs UK GPs use in NICE-endorsed risk tools. And 8 in-person clinical measurements that online providers rarely take. Read together, they give a detailed, whole-body picture of your health.

Ready to see your own numbers?
TREATMENT, UNDER ONE ROOF
If we find it, we can treat it.
Most providers either run bloods and refer you on, or run a digital pharmacy that only sells products. We do both: diagnostics, advice, prescriptions and longevity treatments, all under one roof.
If your results show something we can treat, you book it with us directly, then we retest so you can see the numbers move.
Every treatment is prescribed and dispensed through our in-house GPhC-registered pharmacy, clinician-led, and never sold off the back of a single result.
If your results suggest something outside our scope, for example a finding that needs imaging, a cancer pathway or a surgical opinion, your doctor’s report sets out clear next steps and which type of specialist to see.

Common questions
Frequently asked.
49+ venous blood biomarkers, a digital medical history questionnaire, 8 in-person clinical vital signs, a written report signed off by a UK registered GP and a personalised treatment plan. All for £159.
UK private blood tests range from about £29 for a single marker to £929 for a full health assessment. Comprehensive panels with a doctor review typically cost £150 to £300. The Get A Drip Blood Test is £159 all-inclusive, covering 49+ biomarkers, in-person vitals, a written report and personalised treatment plan signed off by a UK registered GP.
The NHS is excellent at diagnosing problems, but waiting lists are long and access to cutting-edge treatments — for example for MASLD or longevity — is limited. With Get A Drip you get faster results, a broader panel and a personalised treatment plan you can act on the same week, with direct access to treatments that are difficult or expensive to access elsewhere.
Venous blood draws are the clinical gold standard to which finger-prick tests (also known as capillary tests) are benchmarked. Finger-prick tests are acceptable but more prone to unreadable results due to haemolysis in transit, where red cells break and skew results, or temperature changes causing unreadable results. Every Get A Drip Blood Test uses a venous draw taken by a trained clinician at one of our 18 locations.
Numbers alone aren’t the point. What matters is that the panel covers the markers that actually assess your risk of cardiovascular disease, metabolic disease, nutrient deficiency and hormonal imbalance. The Get A Drip Blood Test is built around exactly that set.
Most NHS GPs will look at private blood test results as context. They may still repeat tests on the NHS pathway before formal diagnosis or treatment, particularly for prescribing decisions. This is normal practice and not a reflection of the quality of the private test.
Results are typically available within 3 to 5 working days, with your personalised treatment plan available a few days after that.
Yes — we don’t just advise, we offer solutions. Unlike most blood test providers, Get A Drip also offers in-house treatments (IV therapy, vitamin injections, iron infusion, GLP-1 weight management, ED treatment, infrared sauna, pelvic floor chair, PBM red light, hyperbaric chamber, whole body cryotherapy and IV ozone). For anything outside our treatment scope, your doctor’s written report includes a clear referral suggestion you can take to your GP or a private specialist.
Fasting is required for accurate measurement of lipids. We recommend coming in fasted (water only, 8 to 12 hours) to get the most accurate cardiovascular readings. If you are a man interested in your testosterone levels, prioritise a morning slot — ideally before 11am, or within 4 hours of waking — as this is the time window that offers the most accurate testosterone reading.
If your report flags a finding that needs urgent attention, our clinical team will contact you directly before the report is released, and your doctor’s review will set out the recommended next steps.
